There's a lot to learn when it comes to the Mic, the Stage and the Audience.
These movies helped me navigate better in my thinking, speaking, execution and connecting with the audience.
1. Invictus
An inspiring sports drama based on real events that shows how Nelson Mandela used the power of sport, words and consistency to help unite a deeply divided South Africa after the end of apartheid.
Lesson: Consistency and Simplicity.
Be consistent and always keep your message as simple as possible.

2. The King's Speech
My favorite, The King’s Speech follows Prince Albert, Duke of York, who struggles with a severe stammer that makes public speaking agonizing, especially daunting in an era when radio broadcasts demand confident, commanding voices from leaders.
Lesson: The ability to speak confidently and clearly can impact your life and your audience greatly and positively. There are also no limitations to how far you can go.

3. The Wolf of Wall Street
based on the real-life story of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who rises from modest beginnings to extreme wealth by running a corrupt brokerage firm. Set in the late 1980s and 1990s, the movie follows Belfort as he builds Stratton Oakmont, a firm that uses aggressive and deceptive sales tactics to make massive profits. As his success grows, so do his excesses lavish spending, reckless behavior, and a culture driven by greed and power.
Lesson: you can use words to paint any picture. The ability to read people well would help you faster than big grammars.

4. Comedian
follows Jerry Seinfeld as he returns to stand-up comedy after ending his hit TV show Seinfeld. Instead of relying on fame, he starts from scratch, performing in small clubs and developing entirely new material. The film also closely tracks up-and-coming comedian Orny Adams, offering a contrast between an established legend and a hungry newcomer.
Lesson: Be ready to fail in other to succeed.
